*Please note: at a cost of just £75 Easy Divorce Scotland will provide you with all the required documentation for obtaining a divorce in Scotland; however, you should be aware that there are other costs associated with making a Scottish simple divorce. These include: court costs, which are charged by the court for processing your divorce documentation; and a notary fee, which is the cost of having your divorce documentation witnessed by a court official. We will make you aware of these costs before you purchase your legal divorce documents. You will be required to pay these additional costs directly to the court and notary and not to Easy Divorce Scotland. We will provide you with information on how to do this. Easy Divorce Scotland estimate that court and notary costs will be around £141. This may vary depending on your notary, and court costs at time of purchase. These costs would also have to be paid if you used a solicitor. By using Easy Divorce Scotland, you avoid paying solicitor's fees in addition. These might be as much as £150, meaning that you could pay over £290 for your divorce using a solicitor. With Easy Divorce Scotland, you will be saving up to £100 on the overall cost.
